Rob Van Dam Wants WWE Star In Last Match

Rob Van Dam

When Rob Van Dam eventually laces up his boots one final time, he was confirmed that it’s a current WWE star he’d like to be across the ring from.

Rob Van Dam last wrestled on WWE television in 2014, however has continued wrestling around the world during that time and last appeared on one of the United States’ “big three” promotions when he competed for IMPACT Wrestling in 2020.

During a recent virtual wrestling convention in India hosted by WrestleVerse, Rob Van Dam was asked who, whether they are under contract to a major promotion or not, he would like to face in his final match. At this point, he decided to pick Bobby Lashley.

I don’t know, maybe Bobby Lashley. I have been in the ring with him before and he is in a very, very good position right now.

In recent weeks Bobby Lashley, along with his United States Championship, have enjoyed a renewed status on WWE programming, being featured heavily since Triple H took over as Head Of Creative. This has involved him winning the title from Theory at Money In The Bank, and then retaining it against the same opponent as well as Ciampa.

On the 15th August 2022 edition of the red brand, ‘The All Mighty’ will put his gold on the line again against AJ Styles in a first time ever matchup.
