Rob Van Dam Returning To AEW

Rob Van Dam

Rob Van Dam is heading back to AEW.

Rob Van Dam stunned the wrestling world when Jerry Lynn introduced him to AEW to try and shut the mouth of FTW Champion Jack Perry. Perry has shown a new attitude in recent weeks and has run down ECW, the promotion where the FTW Title originated with Taz.

That led to a match between the WWE Hall of Famer and Jack Perry for the title on Dynamite in Columbus, Ohio. The match was held under FTW rules but Perry still took the low road as he nailed RVD below the belt before driving him face-first into a chair before a roll-up – complete with a handful of tights for the win.

But now it looks like Rob Van Dam is heading back to AEW for another bite at the cherry.

Rob Van Dam to compete in his home state

Rob Van Dam was announced to appear on AEW Collision on the 23rd of September in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The graphic that touted his appearance read that the WWE Hall of Famer “returns to the ring in his home state” confirming that he’ll be in action although no opponent has been announced.

The former WWE Champion recently hinted that his time in AEW had led to an advertised appearance in conjunction with WrestleMania 40 being cancelled.
