Rob Van Dam & Other ECW Legends Heading To NXT
WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam will be joined by another iconic ECW star when NXT heads to Philadelphia.
NXT is heading to the old ECW Arena on the 6th of November and it seems the brand will be getting a little extreme to match its historic surroundings.
One ECW icon is already making their return to WWE for the first time in 20 years and Bubba Ray Dudley will be in action on the show after being confronted by Ethan Page and Ridge Holland on NXT TV. That followed Dudley helping NXT Trick Williams fight off Page and Holland at Halloween Havoc.
Now the 29th of October edition of NXT has seen another legendary ECW figure reveal that they will be part of the show in Philadelphia as Rob Van Dam made a surprise appearance. RVD told NXT General Manager Ava that he wanted to be part of the show on November 6th with Ava suggesting he leave it up to her what his role could be – but by the end of the night, it seemed the former WWE Champion had his own idea.
Rob Van Dam Has Bright Idea For NXT
The show ended with Wes Lee and Je’Von Evans engaged in a vicious backstage brawl and as referees and Ava attempted to separate them, Rob Van Dam appeared and revealed he knew what his role on the show should be but didn’t let anyone else in on the secret.
