Rising WWE Star Teases John Cena Clash

A young WWE star says it would be great to wrestle John Cena.

Everyone is looking to get a piece of John Cena before he finally rides off into the sunset in late 2025. Cena’s bombshell retirement announcement at Money In The Bank sparked a mad scramble among WWE stars past and present who want one more match with the star before he hangs up his jorts.

One man looking to get a spot in that queue is Bron Breakker. The two-time NXT Champion has made an explosive start to life on the main roster in 2024 with many observers tipping him to become World Champion before too long.

Interestingly, although very limited, the pair do have a history dating back to Breakker’s time in NXT. The upstart talked trash to Cena on an episode of the show back in October and ended up narrowly escaping an AA.

While appearing on Unlikely with Adrian Hernandez, Breakker said he’d love to face Cena before he retires.

“Yeah, absolutely. I think me versus John Cena would be great. So we’ll see. I don’t know what his schedule is or how much he’s gonna be around or whatever, but you never know,”

John Cena Is A Man In Demand

The comments from Breakker come after The Miz heaped praise on John Cena before admitting he’d love to share one more moment in the ring with him.

Miz suggested Cena is the greatest of all time while reflecting on their numerous battles in the ring over the last two decades. Although usually rivals, the pair teamed together along with R-Truth on Raw following WrestleMania 40 to get the better of the Judgment Day.

There’s no word on when Cena will return to the ring.
