Rikishi And Samu Confirm Raw 30th Anniversary Appearance With The Bloodline
There are going to be plenty of WWE legends on display on the next edition of Monday Night RAW, and you can add Rikishi and Samu to that list.
The 23rd January edition of Monday Night Raw has been set up to celebrate 30 years of the red brand, and on the most recent edition there were a number of legends added to the lineup including the likes of The Undertaker, Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, Kurt Angle, The Bellas, Jerry “The King” Lawler, Teddy Long, Road Dogg, and X-Pac.
However, there will also be an acknowledgement ceremony in which every generation of The Bloodline will be represented. Although it wasn’t initially confirmed who this would include, Samu Anoa’i has now confirmed that both he and Rikishi will be present.
Speaking to The Daily Item, Anoa’i discussed how pleased he was to be returning to the company.
I want to thank the WWE for everything they have done for myself and my family. I look forward to next week when I can see a lot of familiar faces and be reunited with a lot of my family members. I have not been around the WWE much since I left years ago, but to be able to return is something I wanted for my children and grandchildren. I am thankful for the support of all my fans especially those that have become family in Sunbury and the Valley.
Whilst the names in attendance are starting to fill up, there will be plenty of speculation whether The Rock will also be making a surprise appearance alongside the family, and whether it could lead to the much-rumored match against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39 coming closer to fruition.
There are also a number of matches already confirmed for the anniversary edition of Monday Night Raw, including Austin Theory defending the United States Championship against Bobby Lashley, and Becky Lynch facing Bayley in a Steel Cage Match.
