Rikishi Reacts To Bloodline Member Potentially Ending WWE Career Soon
Rikishi is one of the renowned WWE stars in history.
Before adopting the Samoan Stinkface persona, he was part of the Headshrinkers tag team and was later rebranded as The Sultan, a heel managed by The Iron Sheik.
Nevertheless, Rikishi remains his most popular gimmick in the Stamford-based company.
He was also part of the Too Cool group, comprising Grand Master Sexay and Scotty 2 Hotty.
During his stint with the company, he won the Intercontinental Championship once and tag team championships thrice. He was released in July 2004.
His sons are signed with WWE and perform under the names Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and Solo Sikoa.
The Hall of Famer discussed Naomi, who is a bloodline member through her marriage to Jimmy Uso, ending her in-ring career sooner than expected on his Rikishi Fatu Off The Top podcast.
When asked about a report stating Naomi’s career might wind down due to her desire to start a family, he said:
Sh*t, I’ve been asking her and my son Jonathan for a minute, man. It’s time, you know. They’ve been doing it for a minute, what 17 years, I believe. And every time I see her, I say, “When you going to bring me a grandson or granddaughter?” So, let’s hope…hopefully, you know that happens. [19:05 onwards]
Rikishi Ready To Return To WWE To Assist Roman Reigns
Rikishi also spoke about the possibility of returning to the WWE ring, this time to assist Roman Reigns.
Reigns made his much-awaited return on the July 14 RAW episode for the first time since April.
The Hall of Famer discussed replacing Paul Heyman as the Wiseman or taking up an equivalent persona.
I’m down to be able to, you know, be part of the original Bloodline crew, and you know, be that Wiseman, or, you know, whatever the part that you know, the Tribal Chief wants me to be through, he said.
Rikishi has been a vocal advocate about how his family is being treated on the show.
He has especially been critical about the decline of Jimmy Uso’s star status.
