Ricochet’s Next AEW Opponent Mocks His Time In WWE

Triple H WWE Speed Ricochet

Ricochet has arrived in AEW and now his opponent for his first singles match in the company has mocked the dying days of his WWE run.

Ricochet made his AEW debut at All In as part of the Casino Gauntlet match with a shot at the AEW World Championship on the line. Only 12 out of the possible 21 entrants made it to the ring for that match as Christian Cage picked up the win with help from Killswitch who had teased a split from The Patriarchy and was announced by his former name of Luchasaurus.

Now Ricochet already knows he’ll be in action on the 28th of August edition of Dynamite where he faces The Don Callis Family’s Kyle Fletcher in a one-on-one match.

Before that, however, Ricochet and Fletcher have had a back and forth on social media with Fletcher mocking the former WWE Speed Champion’s time in that company.

Ricochet Fires Back At Kyle Fletcher In Social Media Spat

With Ricochet telling Fletcher he hoped to keep their interactions as brief as possible, Fletcher responded:

you know all about “brief” Mr Speed

Ricochet responded to Fletcher questioning why being a champion would be a bad thing:

Wait…why is being a CHAMPION a bad thing?? Plus, I hate to say it but more people watch those matches than one of yours. But don’t worry, I’ll change that for you.

Ricochet lost the WWE Speed Championship to former AEW star Andrade before his time in the company officially came to an end in July.
