Ricochet Open To Significant Change In AEW

Ricochet AEW

Ricochet has arrived in a big way in AEW and as he looks set to reunite one old rivalry he’s open to switching things up to get the job done.

Ricochet made his AEW debut at All In after his WWE career came to an end earlier in the summer. Since arriving in Tony Khan’s company it’s been inevitable that the high-flying star is set to share the ring again with his old rival and current AEW International Champion Will Ospreay.

Ricochet confronted Ospreay after the English star retained his title in an instant classic against PAC at All Out with Ospreay telling Ricochet to get some wins under his belt and then challenge him for his title.

Ricochet Happy To Smack Some Mouths

After showing a new edge in his confrontation with Ospreay, Ricochet was asked on The Babyfaces Podcast if he’d ever consider a heel turn. And it seems the star will do what’s needed to get the job done:

I think everybody is just kind of an extension of who they feel they are. So I feel like, for me, for example, I’m not afraid to tell somebody to shut up and smack them in their mouths. At the same time, I feel like there aren’t really good guys and bad guys. Everyone has their story and how they tell it. People can resonate with that. Maybe one of these days my story will be told differently than how I feel now. Maybe I will feel differently later, so who knows, but right now, I feel great. I feel good.

It’s hard to really get me down. It’s always been hard since in my real life, my wrestling life, it’s hard to get me down. It’s hard to really get on my bad side. Sure, I will communicate with you. We will talk about it and we’ll fight if we need to. I’ve always been, if not for the fans and not for the people, I wouldn’t be where I’m at. I’m not afraid to touch Will Ospreay or whomever it is. If we got a problem, we can squash it right now however we need to squash it, but good guy, bad guy, it’s different. It’s all how you feel in the moment and I might feel differently later.

Ricochet will continue his quest for wins as he will face The Beast Mortos on the 18th of September edition of AEW Dynamite.
