Ricochet Dismisses Samantha Irvin Move To AEW

Samantha Irvin is out of WWE after just three years in the company but a switch to AEW has already been ruled out by Ricochet.

Samantha Irvin left WWE fans stunned when she announced she was leaving the company just hours before Raw went live in Philadelphia with Raw.

Irvin joined WWE in 2021 and quickly worked her way up the ranks as a ring announcer joining SmackDown in early 2022 before latterly moving to the company’s flagship show on Monday nights. Irvin’s style was a huge hit with fans as her ring introductions for the likes of Chelsea Green and Roman Reigns gave their presence a whole other dimension.

The reason for Samantha Irvin’s surprise WWE exit has seemingly been revealed but her fiancé Ricochet confirmed that she won’t be joining him in AEW.

Ricochet took to social media to respond to one fan who suggested she was on her way to AEW and shot down that theory:

Haha, she’s not coming to AEW. You can all rest easy.

WWE Move Quick To Replace Samantha Irvin

WWE went back to the future as they moved quickly to replace Samantha Irvin as long-time Raw announcer Lilian Garcia made her surprise to the company.

Lilian Garcia debuted in WWE back in 1999 spending a decade with the company before leaving in 2009. Garcia returned in 2012 and stayed until 2016 before leaving her role once again. She made a special appearance on Raw alongside Samantha Irvin back in May when she announced a match between Kofi Kingston and Gunther.
