Ricochet Brands AEW Star A “Real Trash Human Being”

Ricochet AEW Look

Ricochet is looking forward to stepping into an AEW ring with a wrestler he isn’t personally fond of.

The AEW run of Ricochet has seen him compete in some huge matches against the likes of Will Ospreay and Konosuke Takeshita, but there are plenty of other people that he wants to step into the ring with as well.

In the Continental Classic, Ricochet is in the Gold League bracket with Darby Allin, Claudio Castagnoli, Brody King, Komander and Will Ospreay. Ricochet lost his first match to Castagnoli, but he’s looking to pick up a win against Komander on Rampage.

During an interview with Barstool’s Wrasslin podcast, Ricochet mentioned three former AEW World Champions as wrestlers he would like to face. While doing so, he also took a shot at MJF as a person.

“I think Swerve is in the contest. Swerve and I, we’ve locked up a bunch of times but not in years. We’ve both evolved as performers, he’s amazing, so Swerve is definitely in that conversation.

Honestly, I feel like MJF is in that conversation. Real trash human being, but that’s why I need to get in there and smack him in the mouth a little bit.

I don’t know how long he’s going to be doing it, but I feel like Bryan Danielson is somebody who I’ve never got to really get in the trenches with but he’s somebody who I feel like we would have a banger.”

Bryan Danielson is retired as a full-time wrestler, but he is expected to wrestle again in the future, at least on a part-time basis.

Ricochet Made Bold Claim About AEW’s Existence

When AEW launched in January 2019, Ricochet was a contracted WWE superstar with big dreams in that company. Now that he’s in AEW, Ricochet claimed in another recent interview that there might not be an AEW without his influence on pro wrestling.

“I’m not saying that I’m the sole reason. I’m just saying, if there wasn’t Ricochet, there would not be AEW. I’m not saying I’m the sole reason that has happened.”

“Everything I feel I have done in my past career helped set up a world where AEW can exist. I’m not saying it’s just me. It’s me, it’s The Young Bucks, it’s Kenny Omega, it’s Ospreay, it’s everybody but I’m just saying. Without Ricochet, there would be no Ospreay really. All of the guys are passionate. Without that there would be no AEW…”

The spoilers are out for Ricochet’s Rampage match with Komander, which will air on December 6th.
