Ricky Starks Names The Kanye West Track He Wants As His Theme Music

Kanye West Ricky Starks

AEW star Ricky Starks has revealed the Kanye West track that he wants to have as his AEW theme music, even if he only gets it once.

Tony Khan has not been shy about splashing the cash to get hit songs for various stars to use as their theme music in AEW. Jungle Boy Jack Perry comes to the ring to the strains of Baltimora’s Tarzan Boy. Orange Cassidy previously used The Pixies’ Where Is My Mind? before pivoting to Jane by Jefferson Starship.

The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega also had a change of music for their comeback at Full Gear as The Elite made their way to the ring to the sound of Kansas’ hit Carry On My Wayward Son.

Speaking on the Watching The Throne podcast, Ricky Starks has discussed the one song from increasingly controversial and polarising star Kanye West that he’d love to use:

“My goal is to get the rights to play ‘Touch The Sky’ at least once — at least once — for one of my matches. That’s the goal. I’m putting it out there. I’m manifesting this to happen. Honestly, that’s what I want. That’s what I want out of this whole thing. I think the day that I get that, I’m pretty much going to set Twitter on fire.”

Ricky Starks will have the chance to claim an AEW World Title shot on Dynamite in Chicago when he takes on Ethan Page in the finals of the Eliminator Tournament.
