Ricky Starks Gets New WWE Name

Ricky Saints

Ricky Starks is no more as he signed his WWE contract in the middle of the ring and his new name was revealed to the world.

Ricky Starks shocked the world when he made his WWE debut just a few short days after he eventually received his release from AEW. Starks hadn’t been seen in Tony Khan’s company since March 2024 and it seemed that he was destined to join WWE when his contract expired.

Starks made his entrance through the crowd on February 11 and the fans chanted his name although it was noted that neither Starks himself nor commentary mentioned him by name.

And it seems there was a good reason for it after all.

Ricky Starks Is No More

On the February 18 edition of NXT, the new WWE star made his way to the ring to sign his WWE contract. He was soon interrupted by Ethan Page who accused Starks of following his playbook after Page also left AEW to join WWE. Page was soon taken out by Je’Von Evans who then fought to the back.

Wes Lee also interrupted, unhappy that Starks had walked by him during an interview earlier in the night. The two got physical before Starks sent him out of the ring before signing his contract. The camera then panned to the contract revealing his new name in WWE is Ricky Saints.

Later in the show Ethan Page, Wes Lee, Ricky Saints, and Je’Von Evans all came face-to-face backstage with NXT General Manager Ava then making a tag team match between the four men for the next NXT show on February 18.
