Ricky Saints Set For Huge Title Showdown At NXT No Mercy

Ricky Saints has his sights set on WWE gold, and he’ll get his chance to win it at NXT No Mercy.

Since making the jump from AEW, Ricky Saints has made quite a name for himself in NXT. The 35-year-old won the NXT North American Title in just his third match on the brand. That led to a huge feud with another AEW alumnus, Ethan Page, with Page winning the title and redesigning the belt to better reflect his Canadian heritage.

Saints had to watch on from the sidelines at Heatwave, but made his presence felt after Oba Femi successfully defended the NXT Championship against Je’Von Evans. Saints made his way to the ring to confront Femi, and now he’s ready for a title shot of his own.

On the August 26th edition of NXT, Ricky Saints defeated Josh Briggs in a number one contender match for the NXT Championship. That match will take place at No Mercy on September 27th in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Who Else Is Joining Ricky Saints On The No Mercy Card?

Ricky Saints’ title challenge was the third championship match made for No Mercy. Jacy Jayne lost her TNA Knockouts Title at Heatwave and will now put her NXT Women’s Championship on the line against Lola Vice.

WWE has moved the Speed Titles to NXT, and a tournament has been made to find the number one contender for Sol Ruca’s women’s Speed Championship. A WWE, TNA, AAA, and NXT star will do battle with the winner of the four-woman tournament challenging for Ruca’s gold at No Mercy.
