Ricky Saints Attacks After WWE Injury Layoff

Ricky Saints had revenge on his mind as he made a huge splash when he returned to WWE NXT after a short injury layoff.

Immediately after Ricky Saints captured the NXT North American Title, Ethan Page attacked his fellow AEW alumnus and made clear he wanted that championship. Since then, Page and Saints have traded assaults, leading to a match being made between the two men with the title on the line on the May 27th edition of NXT.

The match could best be described as absolute chaos, and there was a frightening moment when Page dropped Saints throat first over a steel chair. WWE provided an update on Saints during the June 3 NXT episode, claiming he had suffered a laryngeal contusion injury.

But one week after that announcement, Saints was back with a vengeance.

Ricky Saints Targets Ethan Page

On the June 10th edition of NXT, Ethan Page successfully defended his NXT North American Championship against Sean Legacy, but he soon had some unwanted company as Ricky Saints attacked.

Following his title loss, rumours ran wild that Ricky Saints was graduating to WWE’s main roster, but it seems he’ll be sticking around in NXT, at least for a little while, as he continues his feud with Page.
