Ric Flair’s Next AEW Appearance Confirmed
Ric Flair is heading to AEW Collision.
The Nature Boy made his AEW debut on the October 25th episode of Dynamite, when he appeared as a “gift” to Sting. A week later it was announced that Flair had signed a multi-year deal with the company with his Wooooo! Energy brand becoming the official energy drinks partner of AEW.
It’s now been announced that Flair will be returning to television on the January 6th episode of Collision in Charlotte, North Carolina. The state has famously been known as “Flair country” for decades.
Flair is featured front and centre on the poster for the show — something that’s not gone down well with everyone on social media.
Ric Flair Open To Getting Physical In AEW
Shortly after signing with AEW, Ric Flair admitted he’d still like to wrestle and had been cleared to take bumps. This has sparked speculation that the 16-time World Champion could be physically involved in Sting’s final match at Revolution.
I have to be careful what I say because it never comes out (the right way). I just made it very clear to everybody that I can take bumps. I have a doctor’s release to do anything I want like that. Do I think I’ll wrestle again? No. Would I like to? Obviously. I’m never going to say no,”
Flair hasn’t wrestled since teaming with Andrade El Idolo to defeat Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett at a special event on July 31st, 2022.
