Ric Flair Claims He Has An Offer To Wrestle Sammy Guevara In Israel
WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair has made the claim that he has been offered a match with AEW star Sammy Guevara at an independent show in Israel.
Since leaving WWE in the summer, Flair has been outspoken on a variety of topics. The ‘Nature Boy’ has taken part in a war of words with current Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, and has even claimed that he would “absolutely” be able to wrestle another match.
Now, on his Wooooo Nation Uncensored podcast, Flair has claimed that there is an offer on the table for him to get that match, and it would be against TNT Champion Sammy Guevara in Israel.
“Yeah, listen, it’s funny you brought that up because there’s a promoter in Israel that wants me to wrestle your buddy, Sammy Guevara in Israel. I said, ‘$100,000 and two first-class tickets, and I’m there. 50% [before] and 50% after I beat Sammy (laughs).”
Guevara became the TNT Champion when he was victorious against ‘The Redeemer’, Miro, on AEW Dynamite at the end of September. He has already had three successful defences against Bobby Fish, Ethan Page, and, most recently, former Ring of Honor Champion Jay Lethal.
Flair recently suggested he could help AEW pop a big TV rating if he and CM Punk met face to face in the ring with microphones in hand.
