Ric Flair Hopes Vince McMahon “Still Has A Lot Of Say” In WWE

Ric Flair stares down Vince McMahon

Ric Flair hopes that the Endeavor merger doesn’t diminish Vince McMahon’s role in WWE significantly.

The ship seems to have steadied somewhat for WWE after what seems to have been a turbulent year for the company. This has particularly been the case for former Chief Executive Officer Vince McMahon, who stepped aside from the company amidst allegations of hush payments and inappropriate actions.

However he returned to the organization ahead of a proposed merger with UFC under the Endeavor banner, which has now taken place with the new parent company created as TKO Holdings to manage the business.

In recent days there has been talk that it has led to McMahon stepping away from the creative side of the business, with Triple H stepping further up in to a role he had already been in when the former head honcho stepped away the first time around, a point which many feel has been noticeable during recent weeks of programming.

Flair Wants McMahon To Say A Lot

In a discussion with Chris Van Vliet on Insight, ‘The Nature Boy’ was asked to give his opinion on the Endeavor deal, and made it clear he hopes Vince McMahon is still heard within the company.

That remains to be seen. I hope Vince continues to have a lot to say about it. That’s to be seen.

During the interview, Ric Flair also made it clear that if he has his way there’s one more match in him, and that he “wants to wrestle again right now”.
