Ric Flair Responds To Roman Reigns’ Stunning Statement

Ric Flair appreciates a recent message from the “Tribal Chief,” Roman Reigns.

When it comes to acknowledging the best wrestlers in the history of a business that spans many decades and has taken many forms, it’s tough to do so.

Every era of pro wrestling has its GOATs (Greatest of All Time), and many people would say Roman Reigns is in the GOAT talk for his era of pro wrestling, considering the man has headlined WrestleMania more than anybody in the history of the event, along with all the great matches and moments.

John Cena has one match left on his WWE retirement tour, and he’s another name the company willingly calls the Greatest of All Time for his incredible run over the last 23 years.

In previous eras, depending on your criteria, names like Bruno Sammartino, Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, The Rock, The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, and numerous others get mentioned as some of the greatest of all time.

Roman Reigns Acknowledges “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair

During a signing with Fanatics, former WWE Champion Roman Reigns was told to acknowledge when a wrestler is mentioned who is better than Reigns.

The names mentioned were Bronson Reed, Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, Cody Rhodes, LA Knight, Drew McIntyre, and Ric Flair…that’s when Reigns told them to stop.

In response to that, Ric Flair went on social media to call it the biggest compliment he’s received in years.

Thank You For The Respect @WWERomanReigns! This Has To Be The Biggest Compliment I’ve Received In Years! 🙏🏻

Flair has literally known Reigns all of his life since Flair worked with Roman’s father, Sika, and uncle Afa many years ago, and Reigns is a respectful person who appreciates those who came before him.

Getting that kind of compliment from Roman Reigns likely did make The Nature Boy feel good since he got in some hot water this week due to comments made about what caused Hulk Hogan’s death, which led to some remarks from Hulk’s widow, who denied Ric’s claims.
