Ric Flair Reveals He’s Officially Cancer-Free
Ric Flair has shared an excellent health update.
One month after denying being diagnosed with cancer, Flair confirmed in June that he was suffering from the life-threatening disease.
The 16-time world champion spoke to People and discussed his diagnosis of skin cancer.
It’s the second time in three years that I’ve been dealing with skin cancer. I will be undergoing treatment next week.
The two-time WWE Hall of Famer is currently with AEW after signing a multi-year deal in late 2023. His appearances, though, have declined over time.
The Nature Boy was scheduled to attend the January 4, 2025, taping of Collision in North Carolina, but it was scrapped.
His appearance at the Atlanta Comic Con on July 19th was also canceled due to personal and health reasons.
His last appearance was during the May 17 episode of Collision, where he honored his longtime friend and Four Horsemen stablemate, Steve “Mongo” McMichael, who passed away in April.

The last decade, especially, has been difficult for Ric Flair, health-wise.
In August 2017, Flair was put in a medically induced coma after being hospitalized for stomach pains. It was also reported that he was in the early stages of kidney failure and close to congestive heart failure.
In 2022, he wrestled in his retirement match alongside then-son-in-law Andrade to defeat Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett in a tag team match at Jim Crockett Promotions.
