Ric Flair Has News For John Cena After WWE Raw Insult
John Cena wants to ruin wrestling and walk away with his 17th world title but the man who shares his record, Ric Flair, has news for him.
When John Cena defeated AJ Styles for the WWE Championship at the 2017 Royal Rumble, he tied Ric Flair’s WWE-recognised record of becoming a sixteen-time world champion.
John Cena booked his place in the WWE Championship match at WrestleMania 41 against Cody Rhodes when he won the Elimination Chamber putting him one step closer to breaking the tie with Flair. Following that win, John Cena shockingly turned heel when he attacked Rhodes and has since been on several tirades targeted at WWE fans.
Cena blamed the fans for his turn and most recently he vowed to ruin wrestling forever by winning the WWE Championship and retiring with the title, forcing fans to forever forget the name of Ric Flair. But Ric Flair doesn’t see it happening.
Ric Flair Sends Warning To John Cena
In an interview with TMZ, Ric Flair shared his thoughts on Cena’s quest to break his record and said his legacy isn’t going anywhere:
I’m just glad after the life I’ve led that I’m here to hear it so…But I’ve got news for John. They’ve been trying to get rid of the ‘Woo’ for 50 years, the ‘Woo’ ain’t going away, neither is Ric Flair and the odds of him winning his seventeenth world title are astronomical.
Ric Flair is at the centre of an act to investigate a new pro wrestling Hall of Fame being formed in the heart of Flair Country.
