Ric Flair AEW

Ric Flair has vowed to bounce back.

On June 30, Ric Flair announced that he’s got a “surgery coming up” with an accompanying picture of his stomach. He asked fans to keep him in their prayers as he prepared to go under the knife.

Flair has recently revealed that he’d been diagnosed with skin cancer and was subsequently forced to cancel a planned appearance.

In a fresh post on social media, Flair has thanked fans for their support and vowed to get through the health issues and come out the other side stronger than ever.

“Thank You To Everyone Who Has Reached Out & For All The Thoughts And Prayers! It Means A Lot To Me. I Will Get Through My Health Issues And Be Stronger Than Ever!”

Ric Flair Has Bounced Back From Serious Health Problems Before

After undergoing surgery in 2017, Flair suffered several major complications, including kidney failure, but a month later, he was allowed to return home. The WWE Hall of Famer has also been diagnosed with alcoholic cardiomyopathy, which is a heart condition linked to long-term use of alcohol.

Following his final match in 2022, Flair claimed he’d suffered a heart attack during the bout.

Ric Flair made his most recent on-screen appearance on the May 17 edition of Collision, where he was among the stars paying tribute to Steve “Mongo” McMichael. The NFL and WCW legend sadly passed away a month earlier after a lengthy battle with ALS.
