Ric Flair Comments On Facing Current WWE Star In Final Match
Ric Flair has indicated that he may take on a current WWE Superstar in his final match, just hours before the official announcement is due to be made.
It has been a hot topic since ‘The Nature Boy’ confirmed that he would lace up the boots one final time, with plenty of speculation on who he will step in the ring with. Names such as FTR, The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express and even Ricky ‘The Dragon’ Steamboat have topped many lists, but no confirmation has been made as yet.
With the official announcement set for 6.05pm EST, Ric Flair has taken to social media that it will be a Monday Night Raw star who he will be facing on 31st July, making it likely WWE will have some involvement in the event.

There is no doubt a huge list of Raw stars who would want to be involved in such a historic match, with the likes AJ Styles topping the potential list given his connections to ‘The Nature Boy’ during their time in IMPACT Wrestling.
On May 16th, Ric Flair confirmed that he will be stepping back in the ring for one last match. ‘The Nature Boy’ last wrestled over a decade ago when he clashed with Sting back in September 2011 during his time in IMPACT.
The announcement immediately got the wrestling world talking with many fans being excited about the idea but others offering criticism, and even concern as Flair is 73-years-old and has suffered a number of serious health issues in recent years. However, Flair has commented that there is only one concern going in to the match.
