Ric Flair Announces End Of Personal Relationship
Ric Flair went on social media to announce some personal news about the end of a personal relationship.
When it comes to professional wrestling, Ric Flair is considered one of the greatest and most famous pro wrestlers ever. Flair won an incredible 16 World Titles in his career although he has claimed many times the number should be higher than that (Flair has said 21 is a more accurate number).
Outside the ring, Flair has been known as a womanizer, which is something he has admitted in documentaries about his life. It’s also well known that Flair’s relationships with women led to issues at home since he has been married and divorced four times.
For most of the past 13 years, Flair was with Wendy Barlow, who wrestling fans may remember from the 1990s in WCW when she was known as “Fifi the Maid” as part of Ric Flair’s talk show segments.
Flair and Barlow would go on to have a romantic relationship that began in 2011. The couple never got married (perhaps due to Flair’s many divorces in the past), but they held a commitment ceremony in 2018 and Flair referred to Barlow as his wife in the past. In January of 2022, Flair announced that he and Barlow had separated. However, the separation didn’t last because the couple reconciled later that year.

Writing on social media, Flair said that he and Barlow have parted ways after 13 years together. Flair thanked her for being there for him during tough times, which included his very serious health issues in 2017.
“Wendy And I Enjoyed 13 Great Years. As With Every Couple, We Have Experienced Our Ups And Downs. I Think It’s Important For Everyone To Know Right Now That We Have Decided To Part Ways Respectfully. I’ll Never Ever Be Able To Thank Her Enough For Standing By My Side Through My Terrible Health Crisis In 2017. She Never Left My Side! And For That I Will Always Be Grateful! We Both Are Working On Different Projects At The Current Time & It Becomes Difficult With My Schedule & Her Schedule To Make This Work. I Wish Her The Best Of Luck With Her Projects, And I Know That She Supports Mine!”
In November 2023, it was announced that Ric Flair had signed a huge multi-year contract with AEW that included Flair’s Wooooo! Energy brand as the official energy drink of AEW. However, that relationship fizzled out and as of July 2024, it was revealed that Flair will likely not be a part of AEW moving forward.
It’s not known if Flair will appear for WWE again or stick to just making personal appearances.
