Rhea Ripley WWE Women’s World Title Rematch To Have Shocking Twist

Rhea Ripley

Rhea Ripley will get the Women’s World Title match she wants, but it comes with an unexpected twist.

There was a contract signing on WWE Raw in Brussels between Women’s World Champion Iyo Sky and her WrestleMania 41 opponent Bianca Belair.

While both women signed the contract as expected, former WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley also signed the contract. It left fans wondering if Ripley would be added to the WrestleMania 41 championship match.

During WWE Raw in Glasgow, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce was in the ring when he was interrupted three times. Sky said that she didn’t care who it was between Belair and Ripley because she would take on both of them. Belair said that she earned that number one contender spot and she went through Elimination Chamber to get to WrestleMania. Belair said she was not about to let Rhea headbutt her way into the match.

When Rhea Ripley interrupted, the fans cheered the loudest for “Mami.” Ripley said she didn’t give a damn about WrestleMania and she didn’t care who she had to go through to get her title back. Ripley got into the ring saying all she wants is her rematch.

The Raw GM Pearce said that he had a solution if they let him speak. Pearce told Ripley next week on Raw, Ripley would get her rematch against Sky and the winner of that match would face Belair at WrestleMania 41.

Since it was a combustible situation, the trio of women got into a fight in the ring. After Ripley was sent out of the ring, Belair gave Sky a KOD slam over the top onto Ripley on the floor. Belair posed with the Women’s World Title to end the segment.

Bianca Belair Will Be Involved In IYO SKY-Rhea Ripley Raw Match

Later on Raw, Bianca Belair walked into Adam Pearce’s office to speak to the Raw GM. Pearce informed Belair she won’t watch this Sky/Ripley match from ringside like the last time they had a match. Instead, Pearce told Belair she’ll be the referee of the Sky/Ripley match next week.

A frustrated Belair told Pearce she didn’t know how to be a referee. Pearce said she had a week to figure it out.

It was reported by Fightful Select earlier in the month that “the plan has been for a Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair and IYO SKY triple threat at WrestleMania.” That certainly could lead to a controversial ending when Belair faces on the March 31st Raw in London, England in front of what should be a big crowd.
