Rhea Ripley Shocked By WWE Return As Liv Morgan Keeps Her Gold

Rhea Ripley

Rhea Ripley thought she had The Judgment Day under control against Liv Morgan at WWE Bad Blood but one returning star had other ideas.

Rhea Ripley was forced to vacate the Women’s World Championship due to an injury suffered shortly after WrestleMania 40 at the hands of Liv Morgan. But Morgan wasn’t done taking from Ripley.

In Ripley’s absence, Liv Morgan captured the Women’s World Title and at SummerSlam, Morgan took Dominik Mysterio from the side of the woman he used to call ‘Mami.’

At Bash In Berlin, Rhea Ripley gained a measure of revenge on Morgan as she pinned her in a mixed tag team match that saw Ripley and Damian Priest team against the Women’s World Champion and Dirty Dominik Mysterio. That win set the stage for Ripley gaining another shot at becoming Women’s World Champion and that’s exactly what she set out to do at Bad Blood.

Dominik Mysterio was hoisted high in the air combining his claustrophobia and fear of heights while Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan did battle over the Women’s World Title.

Raquel Rodriguez Costs Rhea Ripley WWE Gold

Damian Priest had gained revenge over Finn Balor earlier in the night but it was up to Ripley to make it 2-0 for The Terror Twins against The Judgment Day.

As Ripley and Morgan battled in the ring, Mysterio somehow managed to get his cage door open but at height it did him little good. Ripley taunted Mysterio by dropping Morgan with a Riptide on the floor. Mysterio crawled to the front of the cage and looked to have fallen out but was caught – thankfully for him – by a chain around his leg keeping him from crashing to the floor.

Rhea Ripley sought permission from the referee to not be counted out and instead use Mysterio as a human piñata. With Mysterio taken out, Raquel Rodriguez attacked Ripley to cause the disqualification. Despite that Rodriguez still threw Morgan on top of Ripley but the bell had gone ensuring Morgan retained her title.

Raquel Rodriguez has been missing from WWE for months but now she’s back and apparently she has a home in The Judgment Day.
