Rhea Ripley Confirms Ex-WWE Champion Needed Medical Attention During RAW
Ex-Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley and ex-WWE Women’s Champion IYO SKY were attacked on WWE RAW.
WWE set up a big women’s tag team main event on the December 15 episode of Monday Night Raw.
The Kabuki Warriors will face Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY on the first Raw of 2026, where the champions will put their titles on the line against the challengers.
The Kabuki Warriors didn’t take the announcement well. So they attacked RHIYO and blindsided them on the show.
Asuka sprayed her poison mist straight into Ripley’s eyes, dropping her instantly and leaving her clutching her face.
The fans also saw Kairi climb up and hit a brutal flying elbow drop on Rhea, but IYO tried to protect her friend and ate the brutal move.
The heels only stopped the attack and retreated after the medics rushed out to check on Rhea and IYO.
Rhea Ripley Warns The Kabuki Warriors
Later, in a video message, an enraged Ripley addressed the attack. She said the mist left her with vision problems and revealed that IYO needed medical attention after the attack on WWE RAW.
Rhea promised that the Kabuki Warriors had crossed a line and vowed to make them pay for targeting her and her friend.
Kabuki Warriors, you want to blindside us? You want to blindside us, and now, my friend, IYO SKY, now she’s stuck in medical, and I can’t see.
We are going to take your tag team championships, and there is nothing that you can do about it. Nothing.
Ripley also went straight to WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce and demanded a singles match with Asuka.
Pearce agreed, setting up Rhea Ripley vs. Asuka for next week’s Monday Night Raw.
