Rhea Ripley Brings Her Brutality To WWE Elimination Chamber

Rhea Ripley holding WWE Women's World Championship

For the first time in seven years, Rhea Ripley was in action in her native Australia and it was certainly worth the wait.

Rhea Ripley faced one of the biggest challenges to her Women’s World Title reign at Elimination Chamber as she faced off with Nia Jax. Jax has been a thorn in Ripley’s side in recent weeks, taking out the champion week after week in a way not seen before.

At Elimination Chamber Jax looked to become the first person in almost two years to pin Ripley but The Judgment Day’s Eradicator had other ideas.

Ripley survived the Annihilator before a superplex turned the tide in the champion’s favour. A boot to the head of Jax and a Riptide were then enough for her to win and retain her title in front of her own family as well as 52,000 screaming Aussie fans.

Rhea Ripley Heading To WrestleMania

With this win in the books, Rhea Ripley’s road to WrestleMania is now clear. Ripley won her title at WrestleMania 39 when she defeated Charlotte Flair and one year later she will head into the showcase of the immortals with gold around her waist.

Rhea Ripley now knows who her WrestleMania 40 challenger will be after a massive Elimination Chamber match took place that pitted Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, Tiffany Stratton, Naomi, Liv Morgan, and Raquel Rodriguez against each other.
