Rhea Ripley Teases WrestleMania Match With Major WWE Star
When it comes to a future WrestleMania match, Rhea Ripley has a big name in mind as a potential opponent.
The careers of Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair have seen the two former Women’s Champions have some massive moments that were similar. Both women have won the Women’s Royal Rumble and gone on to win major championships at WrestleMania as well.
While Ripley and Belair are not current champions in WWE, Ripley is a former two-time WWE Women’s Champion on the main roster while Belair is a former three-time WWE Women’s Champion.
In addition to their in-ring success, Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair were also one of the WWE 2K24 video game cover together as well.
Despite being two of the biggest female stars in WWE, Ripley hasn’t faced Belair in a televised singles match since NXT Takeover: Portland in February 2020, which was a match that Ripley won. Since Ripley is on the Raw brand while Belair is on Smackdown, it’s likely that the two women may not cross paths again until the 2025 Royal Rumble.
Rhea Ripley Would Like To Face Bianca Belair At WrestleMania
A match between Ripley and Belair may not be scheduled for a WWE show any time soon, but when Ripley was asked about Belair by Sportskeeda, the powerful Australian suggested a match at WrestleMania.
“I love Bianca Belair. I have no beef with Bianca Belair. I think she’s absolutely incredible at what she does. There’s that competitive side of me that wants to step in the ring with her. I want to see who is gonna come out victorious. I want to see who’s stronger and who’s more agile. She might have me in the agile aspect, but stronger? I don’t know, we’re a little bit close.”
“I can’t wait for that day. I feel like it can’t be wasted. I feel like that is such a high-key match that people want to see, and I want to do, and she wants to do. The two faces of WWE 2K24, I think that if we were to step in the ring together again, I think it would have to be WrestleMania worthy.”
At WWE Bash in Berlin on August 31st, Rhea Ripley will team up with her good friend Damian Priest against The Judgment Day’s Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio in a mixed tag team grudge match.
