Rhea Ripley Reveals Why She Turned Down Movie Role
SmackDown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley is a woman in demand and now WWE’s resident ‘mami’ has revealed she turned down the chance to be part of a movie.
The wrestling world and the acting world go hand-in-hand with Roddy Piper, Hulk Hogan, The Rock, John Cena, and Batista just a few stars who have both competed in the ring at the highest level and appeared on the silver screen.
Speaking on Wrestling with Rosenberg, Rhea Ripley was asked if she thinks she could be on the big screen in the future and she said she had the opportunity but felt she had to turn it down:
“I mean, it could be. Quite possibly. I feel like if I were to do a movie, it would have to be like an action or a horror. I don’t think I can really do anything else. But I’ve definitely thought about it and I did acting classes for like two years I wanna say.
“And I did get offered a movie but I just, I couldn’t do it because my schedule was just so hectic and I wasn’t gonna have any time off to do it. So, like I’d legit never be home and I’d never get to see my dogs. Yeah, I just couldn’t do it but maybe after wrestling there might be one or two that I could do.”
Rhea Ripley recently made quick work of Dana Brooke on Monday Night Raw and when Ripley wouldn’t stop the assault she was confronted by former SmackDown Women’s Champion Natalya, indicating where her next feud might lie.
