Rhea Ripley Has Strong Message For Critics Of Viral WWE Live Event Spot
Rhea Ripley knows some people didn’t like something she did at a WWE live event and she has a suggestion for what they can do about it.
At a WWE live event earlier this year in March when Rhea Ripley was still the Women’s World Champion, she had a viral moment during a match.
It was a match between current WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax and Ripley, who decided she would do the Stinkface spot made famous by WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi in the Attitude Era.
Since Nia Jax has been known to rub her behind in the face of opponents sometimes, Ripley decided to hike up her trunks and deliver a stinkface on Jax. This led to the live event video being shared a lot online to create a viral moment since Ripley’s very fit woman with the kind of posterior that a lot of people want to see.
Becky Lynch was feuding with Rhea Ripley at the time leading into their WrestleMania 40 match. Lynch criticized Ripley for it saying it sends the wrong kind of message to fans who think that getting over in a sexual way works and Lynch thought that was the wrong kind of message. It’s possible that Lynch was just saying it because she was feuding with Ripley, but it also could have been her true feelings.
Rhea Ripley To Critics: “Shut Up”
While speaking to DS Shin of Ring The Belle about the viral WWE live event moment, Ripley thinks that the people who hated her Stinkface spot only hated it because of Ripley’s popularity.
“Shut up. Shut up. Honestly, like, it’s real funny because I get criticism for every single little thing that I do. But you see the men doing this and you’re like, ‘yeah, that looks cool, amazing.'”
Tiffany Stratton does this the other week and they’re like, ‘oh my god, I love you, Tiffany. Oh my God, you’re so sexy, please do that to me.’ But when I do it, there’s a problem? Why? You’re just mad that I’m popular, that’s why.”
The popular Ripley recently picked up a Mixed Tag Team Match with Damian Priest over Liv Morgan & Dominik Mysterio at WWE’s Bash in Berlin PLE. Ripley won the match by pinning the Women’s World Champion Morgan, so Ripley is hoping to get her championship back from Morgan if she receives another shot at the title.
