Rhea Ripley Pays Tribute To WWE Star As They Move To SmackDown

Rhea Ripley WWE

Rhea Ripley was sad to see a former World Champion leave Monday Night Raw.

During the January 24th edition of SmackDown, it was announced that Damian Priest was now part of the blue brand. The switch finally moves Priest away from the Judgment Day who has made his life so difficult since mid-2024.

On his first night in blue Priest saw off Carmelo Hayes in the ring before bumping into Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes backstage.

Meanwhile, The Miz also joined the show. Unfortunately for him, the change has put him straight back into the clutches of the Wyatt Sicks. With Miz and Priest now on SmackDown, Austin Theory and Grayson Waller jumped over to Monday Night Raw.

Rhea Ripley Won’t Forget Her Terror Twin

It’s no secret that during their time in WWE, Priest and Rhea Ripley have become close friends, both on and off-screen. The duo enjoyed tremendous success together as part of Judgment Day and spent years travelling the world side by side.

In a post on social media, Ripley said that while she was sad to see her terror twin go, she can’t wait to see what he accomplishes on SmackDown.

From being strangers, to you becoming my best friend.
Always being on the same brands from day one.
Being inseparable travel and gym buddies.
You have always been one my my biggest supporters ❤️
I don’t want to let you go…

But I cannot wait to see the punishing you get up to.

Te amo, my Terror Twin!

In response, Priest paid tribute to his best friend, telling Ripley he wouldn’t be where he is without her.

My homie. Best friend. Sister. Not where I’m at without your support. Appreciate you more than you know and forever proud. Love you and will always have your back! The greatest! #TT4Life

Rhea Ripley will be back in action at Saturday Night’s Main Event when she defends the Women’s World Championship against Nia Jax. Elsewhere, Gunther defends the World Heavyweight Championship against Jey Uso.
