Rhea Ripley Drops Surprising WWE Royal Rumble Tease
Rhea Ripley has hinted that she could enter the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble match.
The Australian Superstar is full of confidence having recaptured the WWE Women’s Championship from Liv Morgan during the Netflix debut of Raw on 6th January before successfully defending the gold in a battle with Nia Jax at Saturday Night’s Main Event on 25th January.
It is not yet known if Ripley will put the coveted title on the line at the 2025 Royal Rumble event on 1st February, although the 28 year-old has hinted about her status for the event.
Speaking to Pete Rosenberg and Jackie Redmond in a WWE social media exclusive following the event, Ripley suggested that she could well make a huge impact at the popular annual Premium Live Event by entering the Men’s Royal Rumble Match:
“Maybe I’ll be in the men’s one….”
Should Ripley compete in the hotly anticipated Men’s Royal Rumble match on 1st February, she will become just the fourth female Superstar to do so.
WWE Hall Of Famer Chyna entered the gruelling match in 1999 and 2000, with Beth Phoenix following suit in 2010 on a night where ‘The Glamazon’ famously eliminated The Great Khali.
Kharma was the next female participant in 2012 before current WWE Superstar Nia Jax made her presence felt during the 2019 Men’s Royal Rumble match.
Rhea Ripley Pays Tribute To Fellow WWE Superstar
Rhea Ripley has paid tribute to Damian Priest following his move to SmackDown.
Ripley and Priest, collectively known as The Terror Twins, have formed a close friendship both on and off-screen since first joining forces as members of the Judgment Day faction in May 2022.
Former World Heavyweight Champion Priest brought an end to his rivalry with former Judgment Day stablemate Finn Balor with victory in a vicious no holds barred encounter on the 13th January edition of Raw before SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis announced the acquisition of Priest eleven days later.
