Rhea Ripley Teases Huge Stipulation For WWE WrestleMania

Rhea Ripley

Rhea Ripley is on guard now that Bayley has won the Royal Rumble but she could have a major match in mind should they face off at WrestleMania.

Rhea Ripley has been the Women’s World Champion in WWE since she defeated Charlotte Flair for the gold at WrestleMania 39. Since then Ripley has become one of Raw’s top stars in The Judgment Day and it seems that it’s going to take a lot to get her title away from her.

Now Ripley could face her stiffest test after Bayley won the women’s Royal Rumble, breaking Ripley’s record for the longest time spent in the Rumble match in the process.

With IYO SKY currently the WWE Women’s Champion, Bayley had made clear to Damage CTRL that if she won the Rumble, she’d be cashing in on Ripley with the hope that the group could claim all the gold in WWE.

Rhea Ripley Wants To Go The Distance With Bayley

Bayley took to social media to reiterate her WrestleMania 40 goals following her huge win and Ripley responded with the suggestion that the two could face off in an Iron Woman match.

There has never been an Iron Woman match in WrestleMania history with only two of those matches taking place in WWE. The first of those happened at NXT TakeOver: Respect back in October 2015 when Bayley defeated Sasha Banks to retain the NXT Women’s Championship.

The only Iron Man match in WrestleMania history took place in 1996 when Shawn Michaels clashed with Bret Hart in the main event for the WWE Championship. Michaels won the first WWE Title of his career with a 1-0 victory in overtime after a 60-minute draw.
