Rhea Ripley On Verge Of Signing Monster WWE Contract
Rhea Ripley is going nowhere.
Back in September, it was reported that WWE was looking to lock Liv Morgan, Rhea Ripley, and Nia Jax into new contracts. Despite plenty of time left on their existing deals, it was noted that WWE is trying to avoid leaving negotiations as late as they have in the past.
Early 2024 was dominated by speculation around Drew McIntyre’s future, and it was revealed that negotiations with him in particular went down to the wire.
However, it would be tough to argue that the year hasn’t been a success for WWE, as while Ricochet, MVP, Bobby Lashley, and MVP have all headed to AEW the company has brought in several new names as well as signing Seth Rollins, Damian Priest, Asuka and more to new deals.
Interestingly, it’s been claimed that Becky Lynch might also have already agreed her own new deal, despite being on hiatus. Although Lynch hasn’t been seen on television since May and is said to be a free agent, it’s been revealed that she remains on WWE’s internal roster list.
Rhea Ripley Staying With WWE
According to a new report via PWInsider Elite, Rhea Ripley has agreed terms on a new five-year contract. Although the deal is yet to be signed, the report adds that it’s only a matter of time.
Although exact financial details are being kept as hidden as possible, it’s believed Ripley will land a “considerable” pay rise.
In recent years Ripley has established herself as not only one of the biggest stars in WWE, but in the industry as a whole.
