Rhea Ripley might have reached the top of WWE once again as SmackDown Women’s Champion but The Judgment Day’s eradicator has challenges – familiar and new – in her sights.

At WrestleMania 39, Rhea Ripley made the most of her Royal Rumble win as she defeated Charlotte Flair to become SmackDown Women’s Champion. And now the Australian star has named two huge challenges that she wants to face.

Speaking on After The Bell, Rhea Ripley says she still wants her singles match with Beth Phoenix but if she can’t have her then there’s another WWE Hall of Famer she wants in the ring:

“I think one of the main ones is, I want my singles match with Beth Phoenix. I want my singles match, not a tag, a singles. But if she doesn’t fit the mold of what we’re going with, and we’re going with first time ever, I want to say Lita. I think that would be a lot of fun.”

Ripley faced Phoenix as part of a mixed tag team match also featuring Edge and Finn Balor back at Elimination Chamber in February. Lita’s WWE future remains uncertain after she and Becky Lynch lost the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Lita was taken out before the bout meaning Trish Stratus – who was ultimately pinned – replaced her before attacking Lynch after the match.
