Rhea Ripley Publicly Criticises WWE
Rhea Ripley is not happy.
On March 1, Bianca Belair won the women’s Elimination Chamber match to confirm her spot at WrestleMania. With victory, Belair will now face either Rhea Ripley or Iyo Sky, with the pair set to meet on the March 3 episode of Raw for Ripley’s Women’s World Title.
In the wake of Belair’s win, Ripley and then Sky joined her on the ramp at Elimination Chamber, sending fan excitement through the roof.
Ahead of the match between Ripley and Sky, WWE has shared a video playlist highlighting the issues between the pair, but only from February onward. Apparently upset at the lack of depth in the video and promotion of the rivalry, Ripley replied:
There is literally SO much more history between us than just this short ass clip.
Rhea Ripley Not Alone In Feeling Frustrated
The comment from Ripley comes after it was recently reported that several women within WWE are frustrated with the booking of the division and how talent is utilised.
Although her feelings on the situation weren’t discussed, it was highlighted that Natalya hasn’t been featured regularly despite signing a new contract.
However, Bianca Belair dismissed the report ahead of Elimination Chamber, claiming that a little tension is normal in the run-up to WrestleMania.
Despite the apparent unrest, Triple H has claimed that the match order for WrestleMania remains up in the air, and it’s still possible that one of the women’s matches on the card could take the main event spot. At the time of publication, the only other women’s match confirmed for the event will see Charlotte Flair challenge Tiffany Stratton for the Women’s Title.
