Rhea Ripley is injured.
During the October 19th episode of NXT, Rhea Ripley made a surprise appearance where she welcomed Zaria to the brand and gave the star and her tag team partners a pep talk ahead of a battle on November 6th. On the show from the ECW Arena, Zaria will team with Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer, Kelani Jordan & TNA’s Jordynne Grace to tackle Roxanne Perez, Cora Jade & Fatal Influence.
Later on in the show, cameras caught several referees rushing to the parking lot with Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez walking away with a baseball bat. It was quickly revealed that their target had been Ripley who was lying battered and bloody next to a car.
Rhea Ripley Out Of Action
In a statement posted on WWE.com, it was announced that Ripley suffered a “fractured right orbital socket” and will be out of action for an undisclosed period.
Last night on NXT, Rhea Ripley was heinously attacked in the parking lot by Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan and her enforcer Raquel Rodriguez.
Following the brutal attack, it has been revealed that The Nightmare has suffered a fractured right orbital socket, which will put Ripley out of action for an undisclosed amount of time.
Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan have been at war since the latter injured Ripley shortly after WrestleMania 40. During Ripley’s absence, Morgan tried to lure Dominik Mysterio away from her rival, while she also won the Women’s World Title.
At SummerSlam, Mysterio finally turned her back on Ripley to help Morgan retain her title, while the returning Rodriguez cost Ripley a rematch at Bad Blood.
