Rhea Ripley Not Happy After Dominik Mysterio’s Title Loss

Dominik Mysterio is no longer the NXT North American Champion and “Mami” Rhea Ripley isn’t happy about it.

There were two title changes at the NXT No Mercy Premium Live Event in Bakersfield, California.

In the NXT Championship match, Ilja Dragunov won his rematch against Carmelo Hayes in an instant classic that ended when Dragunov hit a forearm to the face for the pinfall win. Dragunov, the new NXT Champion, shook hands with Hayes after the match as a sign of respect.

The other title change on the show saw Trick Williams beat Dominik Mysterio to become the new NXT North American Champion.

In the Dominik Mysterio-Trick Williams match, fellow NXT wrestler Dragon Lee was the special guest referee, which Dominik didn’t like. At one point in the match, Lee was knocked out of the ring and another referee replaced him. The finish saw Dominik try to use the North American Title as a weapon, but Trick avoided it and hit a jumping knee smash on Dominik for the pinfall win.

Rhea Ripley is not pleased about “Dirty” Dom losing his championship

For the past two weeks, Rhea Ripley has been off WWE television selling the attack that Nia Jax did to her on the September 11th edition of Raw. In reality, Ripley was given a well-deserved vacation by WWE, which led to her going to her home country of Australia with her fiance Buddy Matthews of AEW.

Following Dominik’s title loss, Rhea Ripley went on X/Twitter to share her instant reaction: “YOU’RE F’N KIDDING ME!”

Damian Priest, who is a part of The Judgment Day group with Ripley, Dominik and Finn Balor also shared a GIF of himself looking disappointed about what happened.

It’s likely that Dominik, Ripley and the rest of The Judgment Day will have a strong reaction to Dirty Dom’s title loss this coming week on WWE television.
