Rhea Ripley stands opposite an old friend these days.
She will face Raquel Rodriguez in a Street Fight at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia on June 28.
For weeks, Ripley and Rodriguez have repeatedly crossed paths.
The Eradicator was one of the participants in the Queen of the Ring Tournament on the June 9 RAW episode. Also in the same match was Liv Morgan, Rodriguez’s Judgment Day teammate.
Rodriguez interfered in the match, costing the 28-year-old the chance to qualify for the semi-finals of the tournament.
On the subsequent RAW, Rodriguez competed in the same tournament match, this time Ripley interfering in the match.
The recent RAW episode saw a more intense battle, with Rodriguez putting the former women’s champion through a table with her Tejana Bomb after interference from Roxanne Perez.
The REBOOKED Wrestling Podcast panel discussed the Street Fight on the latest episode, where they picked Rodriguez to beat Ripley.
Former WWE star Aiden English also shared that Liv Morgan, despite being injured, could factor in as a reason why Ripley loses the match.
The fact that this match was made was for that reason (Morgan’s return). I think the idea of…have Roxanne come in and help her (Rodriguez). And then, Liv (ultimately) comes back, wearing all black, and punches Roxanne right in the face. [53:52 onwards]

Rhea Ripley appeared on the SummerSlam Kickoff show recently.
She discussed her ongoing tussle with Raquel Rodriguez, claiming that her former tag team partner was jealous of her and called her pathetic.
What is going on between me and Raquel? Look, we’ve been very back and forth since our NXT day. She was my best friend, she was my sister, she was my tag partner at some stage until she got jealous. And what happened now? What happened at Monday Night RAW? She got jealous once again, and she pulled me out of the ring so I couldn’t make it to Queen Of The Ring. She’s pathetic.
Amidst her rivalry with Rodriguez, Ripley also showed her soft side when she came to the support of Morgan after the latter suffered an injury on RAW.
