Rhea Ripley Discusses The Injury That Kept Her Out Of Action

Rhea Ripley

Rhea Ripley has discussed the injury that kept her out of the ring for several months and how she feels her career is starting all over again.

Rhea Ripley had won a number one contender’s match to face Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s Championship at Money In The Bank but those plans had to be abandoned when Ripley was ruled out of action with an injury.

Speaking to the New York Post, Ripley has explained her lack of televised action since returning was down to just not having much of an opportunity:

“A lot of it was the injury. I hadn’t been cleared for the longest time. I think I got cleared properly and fully the week before my NXT match (on Oct. 18). Apart from that, I pretty much wasn’t cleared that whole time (four months).”

“After that there pretty much hasn’t been an opportunity for me to wrestle because I have been there with The Judgment Day and sort of their muscle. I help them out if they need me. I’m “the problem” as the OC would say. I feel like my wrestling career is just starting up again.”

Ripley wrestled her first match on Raw in 5 months on the 21st of November edition of the show where she defeated Asuka to claim the advantage for her team in the WarGames match at Survivor Series.
