Rhea Ripley Wanted By Hugely Controversial TNA Star
As Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley is a wanted woman and it seems a top TNA star wants to cross the line to face her as well.
Rhea Ripley recaptured the Women’s World Title from Liv Morgan on the Netflix debut of Raw. Now a three-time world champion Ripley is the jewel in the crown of WWE’s women’s division and it seems that’s been noticed outside of the company as well.
Rhea Ripley Is A Wanted Woman
Speaking on the DeLoco Podcast, TNA’s Tessa Blanchard explained why she’d be happy to get in the ring with the Australian star:
She’s phenomenal. I’ve watched some of her matches, and we actually did the first-ever Mae Young Classic for WWE together. But she was a different Rhea Ripley then. She was blonde hair, still tall, still built, still phenomenal in the ring.
But she has just transformed into this absolute powerhouse over there. So yeah, I would be down for that.
TNA and WWE have secured a partnership to continue working together with the crossover of both TNA and NXT stars.
Tessa Blanchard is still a hugely controversial figure in the wrestling world despite her return to TNA. Blanchard was caught up in a racism row earlier in her career as well as one WWE star labelling her a bully. Whether or not WWE ever takes the chance on working with Blanchard remains to be seen.
