Rhea Ripley has issued an apology to a top WWE star after a heartbreaking situation unfolded on Raw.

The September 22nd edition of Raw ended in shocking fashion as relationships crumbled. Asuka has had her sights set on Rhea Ripley in recent weeks, growing increasingly irate at Ripley’s friendship with IYO SKY.

On Raw, Ripley picked up a win over The Empress of Tomorrow, but Asuka was not done. She blinded Ripley with her poison mist, and as IYO SKY tried to calm down her longtime friend, Asuka turned on SKY. Kairi Sane looked on, shocked, but was soon persuaded by her Kabuki Warriors partner to join in the attack on SKY.

Rhea Ripley Sorry For Heartbreak

IYO SKY has given her first public comments since the betrayal, and now Rhea Ripley has issued an apology to SKY after reposting her video on social media. Ripley wrote:

I’m sorry Iyo… I’m so sorry 😔💔

Raw also saw Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes come face-to-face as the Crown Jewel Championship was reintroduced. World Heavyweight Champion Rollins and WWE Champion Rhodes will clash for the crown in Perth, Australia, on October 11th. As things stand, the women’s Crown Jewel Championship will be fought over by Stephanie Vaquer and Tiffany Stratton.

Stephanie Vaquer captured the vacant Women’s World Title at Wrestlepalooza with a victory over IYO SKY.
