A current WWE star is praising Rhea Ripley heavily by calling her the “greatest woman wrestler of all time” due to the incredible run she is on.

It is still early in 2023, but there’s no denying that it has been Rhea Ripley’s year in WWE so far. After all, the talented Australian won the Royal Rumble in January by starting the match at number one and winning the match with a record-setting performance for a woman in Royal Rumble history.

At WrestleMania 39, Rhea Ripley had the performance of a lifetime by beating Charlotte Flair to become the Smackdown Women’s Champion for the first time. It wasn’t just a title change, but it was also a match that was praised heavily by a lot of people as one of the best women’s matches in WWE history.

By becoming Smackdown Women’s Champion at WrestleMania 39, Ripley became the first woman in WWE history to win the NXT UK Women’s Title, NXT Women’s Title, Women’s Tag Team Titles, Raw Women’s Title and Smackdown Women’s Title. Since the NXT UK Women’s Title is no longer a thing, nobody else will be able to say they did that.

Rhea Ripley is also part of The Judgment Day group that was recently drafted to Raw. Ripley is joined in the group by former Universal Champion Finn Balor, former US Champion Damian Priest and former Tag Team Champion Dominik Mysterio, who likes to call her “Mami” among other things.

During this week’s WWE After The Bell podcast, Priest praised Ripley heavily by calling her the greatest woman wrestler of all time already even though Ripley is only 26 years old with many years ahead of her. Priest knows it is early in Ripley’s career, but still feels she deserves the praise.

“Greatest woman wrestler of all time. That’s where I’m at with Rhea. And I know it’s, everybody goes it’s a little early. Why? What title hasn’t she won yet? As far as where the women’s go. Who on this planet can stand in front of her and challenge her for that title, and you really think that they’re just going to have their way with her. Not one person on this entire planet. It doesn’t matter who it is. Rhea Ripley is the best.”

“I don’t think there’s anybody in the history of this business that could dominate her, that’s who really is to me and watching her grow the same thing I said for Dom goes for Rhea proud, excited, just love the idea that I get to sit here right next to her and see all this magic and history happen.”

“I mean, it’s history because when it’s all said and done, I hope I’m a part of her induction into the Hall of Fame. I hope that you know, I’m there for every milestone that she’s going to accomplish. Rhea Ripley is the epitome of what a superstar and this business is.”

Rhea Ripley will be in action this Saturday at WWE Backlash in Puerto Rico when she defends the Smackdown Women’s Title against Zelina Vega.
