Rhea Ripley Eradicates Raquel Rodriguez At WWE Night Of Champions

Rhea Ripley overcame one of her toughest challenges in recent memory.

The former women’s champion faced Raquel Rodriguez in a Street Fight, where everything was legal, at WWE Night of Champions.

Rodriguez dominated most of the match due to her physical superiority over The Eradicator, even stringing up Ripley between the ropes at one point.

The match featured the introduction of a Kendo stick, tables, a trash can, and steel steps at different stages.

Roxanne Perez interfered in the match, just as she had on the June 23 episode of WWE RAW. Ripley was better prepared this time around, as she took care of Perez immediately to focus back on Rodriguez.

Both wrestlers spent the closing minutes of the match over a table set on top of the corner ring ropes.

After a few exchanges, Ripley gained the upper hand and dropped Rodriguez with a Riptide for the 1-2-3.

Rhea Ripley has set her sights on reclaiming her gold.

At the end of the day, if I don’t want the championship, then what the hell am I doing in this business, she said.

“Mami” lost her title to Iyo Sky on the March 3 episode of WWE RAW.

Ripley’s initial WWE Women’s Championship reign lasted 380 days before she was forced to relinquish it due to an injury.
