Rhea Ripley Earns Praise From Jim Ross

AEW announcer Jim Ross has looked across the wrestling divide to shower some praise on WWE star and The Judgment Day’s secret weapon, Rhea Ripley.

Rhea Ripley causes a sensation every time she appears on WWE television as of late as part of the villainous Judgment Day. Ripley has cast a spell over Dominik Mysterio and caused him to turn his back on his father and join her, Finn Balor, and Damian Priest.

The former Raw Women’s Champion recently returned to in-ring action after a spell on the sidelines as she dealt with what was described as a brain injury.

Speaking on his Grilling JR podcast, the long-time Head of Talent Relations for WWE Jim Ross commented on Rhea Ripley and says her success is something that all fans should enjoy:

“She’s got an impressive look, and she’s been very smart on how her TV appearance or TV attire, [how] the look is perceived, looks like. And she’s big, statuesque, I’m guessing she might be close to six feet, am I right? Somewhere on those lines?”

“I think she’s certainly done a good job of those guys, good for her. And these kids come from another country, they’ve been lifelong fans, they finally make it to a paying job on American television, and good for them. I think that’s a success story, no doubt, and one that we should all enjoy.”
