Rhea Ripley “Disgusted” By WWE Veteran’s Actions
Rhea Ripley is ready for Asuka.
In recent weeks, Iyo Sky has found herself torn between her loyalty to Asuka & Kairi Sane, and breaking out on her own as their relationship collapses.
However, she’s found a friend in Rhea Ripley, who has been doing her best to look out for Sky and offer her guidance. Unfortunately for Sky, Ripley missed the October 6 episode of Raw, and she was again attacked and misted by Asuka and Sane.
As the battle lines were drawn, a match between Ripley & Sky and the Kabuki Warriors was made for Crown Jewel in Perth, Australia.
Rhea Ripley Takes Aim At Asuka
During the Crown Jewel Kick-Off Show, Ripley was asked about the Kabuki Warrior’s latest attack on Iyo Sky, and it’s fair to say she’s less than impressed.
“It made me feel completely disgusted to be completely honest. Aren’t these the ones that call Iyo their family member? That doesn’t seem like the way that you treat a family member…
Asuka likes to call Iyo a puppet. She likes to call me a snake. But the funny thing is, isn’t she the one who draws a venomous animal on her face? Isn’t she the one that spits poison? To me, Asuka, she’s a manipulator, she’s a snake, she’s a bad family member. And that’s someone I don’t want my friends around.
I don’t want to tell Iyo what to do and who to hang out with, but I look out for the people that are close to me. That’s why I’m here, by Iyo’s side, sticking up for her and defending her, against her so-called family.”
During the same event, AJ Styles doubled down on his promise to retire in 2026. The star explained that as he gets older, he’s growing increasingly worried about embarrassing himself in the ring. This fear has made him determined to retire before he can no longer perform at a high level.
At Crown Jewel, Styles will wrestle John Cena one more final time before the 17-time World Champion ends his own in-ring career in December.
