Rhea Ripley has opened up about becoming a fan favourite.

On the July 8th episode of Raw, Rhea Ripley returned to WWE as a fully-fledged babyface to take out Liv Morgan. Although Dominik Mysterio briefly ditched Morgan to return to her side, Ripley was abandoned at SummerSlam as Mysterio turned his back on her.

Even before her post-WrestleMania beak, Ripley was popular with fans, but since July she’s become truly beloved.

In a new interview with Sports Illustrated, Ripley said she never imagined she’d accomplish what she has in WWE.

Later in the interview, Ripley said she was surprised at how much fans have gotten behind her since her return.

“Hearing people cheer for me, it’s even louder than I thought it would be. So I’m grateful for my stubbornness. That’s what got me to America so far away from my family. It gets me to the gym in the morning. It gets me titles in WWE. I’m thankful to be so stubborn,”
