Rhea Ripley Dealing With Reoccurring Injury

Rhea Ripley

SmackDown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley is on the run of her career in WWE but the star has revealed that she is battling an injury that keeps popping up – or popping out to be more accurate.

Rhea Ripley is having a 2023 like no other star in WWE after winning the Royal Rumble match – and becoming the first woman to do so from the number one entrant position – before going on to capture the SmackDown Women’s Championship from Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 39.

As well as in-ring success, Ripley has tapped into a new level of popularity through her on-screen adventures with her precious ‘Dom-Dom’ Mysterio. Popularity that has even seen their relationship referenced on AEW television.

Speaking on Greg & The Morning Buzz, Ripley was asked about her knee popping out during her match with Flair at WrestleMania 39 and says she wasn’t sure that it happened in that bout but it does keep happening:

“No, my knee didn’t pop out. What happened to me? Something happened. I can’t remember what it was. It might have been my knee. My knee always pops out, it’s just a reoccurring thing for me. I can never remember which matches it actually does it in.”

The knee situation has not stopped Rhea Ripley from dominating with The Judgment Day on Monday Night Raw. On Raw in Hartford, CT Ripley was by the side of Dominik Mysterio when he took a cheap shot at Cody Rhodes. That caused Ripley to receive a stern warning from The American Nightmare’s wife, Brandi Rhodes.
