Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY Stand Tall Amid Chaos To Kick Off WWE RAW

The Road to Royal Rumble is officially underway as WWE began its European tour last week, with Berlin, Germany, being the first stop on the tour. Following last week’s SmackDown, tonight’s RAW took place in Germany as well.

The show was emanating live from the PSD Bank Dome in Düsseldorf, and WWE had already announced some exciting matches on offer, including the mouth-watering clash between AJ Styles and Gunther.

After winning the women’s tag team titles to kick off the show last week, newly crowned champions Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY opened tonight’s episode as they celebrated their first tag team title reign together.

Multiple challengers emerge on WWE RAW

They laid out a challenge to any team that would like to step up to them, as even before Rhea could complete the sentence, she was interrupted by Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez of The Judgment Day.

Liv claimed the titles, stating that she deserved them because she had never lost the title, but she was interrupted by Lyra Valkyria and Bayley, who felt they deserved a shot at the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.

Chaos erupted as the Kabuki Warriors snuck up behind the champions and took them out of the ring, while all three remaining teams started brawling. However, it was the champions, Rhiyo, who took out everyone and stood tall in the ring.
