Rhea Ripley Discusses AEW Star Joining WWE – “I’m Very Convincing”

Rhea Ripley launched herself back to the top of WWE with her win at WrestleMania 39 to become SmackDown Women’s Champion and now she’s looking close to home for a possible recruit for the company.

Ripley’s boyfriend is AEW star Buddy Matthews who currently holds that company’s Trios Championship alongside Malakai Black and Brody King as The House of Black.

But before he became All Elite, Matthews was known as Buddy Murphy in WWE and had held the Raw Tag Team Championship during his association with Seth Rollins.

In an interview with Gery Roif, Ripley joked about convincing Matthews to come back to WWE and also says that for now, she’s happy to be associated with The Judgment Day:

“Maybe. Maybe. I don’t know. I’m very convincing. I’m a very convincing girl. I normally get what I want, so it might happen. You never know.

“Right now, I’m happy with my DomDom. I’m happy going out there with him and Finn and Damian. You never know what the future holds. It might happen.”

Rhea Ripley recently came face-to-face with The Bloodline’s enforcer Solo Sikoa as The Judgment Day and Roman Reigns’ group sought to take out each other’s enemies on a chaotic Monday Night Raw.
